Wedding belles

Hong Kong may have no shortage of bridal boutiques but most of them sell gowns of the dated puffball variety. Hitched, an intimate, by-appointment salon that opened recently in Sheung Wan, on the other hand, offers gowns by hip American and European designers. Featured are feminine designs by David Fielden, classics with a twist by Lela Rose and clean silhouettes by Nicole Miller.

There is a section devoted to bridesmaids, featuring jewel-tone dresses from brands such as Priscilla of Boston, Melissa Sweet and Vineyard, all handpicked by Hitched owner Dana Trang. The store also offers hair and make-up services.
