Unabashed, fun and flirty hedonism appeared to be the order of the day at M1NT's first exclusive 'masked lingerie' party on Friday night.

Hundreds of guests donned colourful masks and outfits inspired by anything from Victoria's Secret to Hugh Hefner to party at the glam Hollywood Road venue. Some men appeared to particularly revel in the rare opportunity to go topless in a packed club in the hot and humid Hong Kong weather.

'I came here not knowing what to expect and I've been very pleasantly surprised,' said one guest, Tereza Kysilkovam. 'People are loving this, it's got great energy. You don't see many parties like this here and it's nice to loosen up once in a while, go a little bit wild, but still keep things in line.'

Another guest, Will Jones, said it was a lot of fun. 'Of course, as a guy, it's kind of exciting. You wonder what the girls are going to wear. The masks are great, because they kind of hide identities, but at the same time, they're suggestive. And lingerie ... what can you say?'

The organisers were keen to ensure a safe environment for the ladies. Men were only to be admitted with female company, and the event's brochure stressed it wasn't a 'fetish party', advising that as 'long as it isn't sleazy, anything goes'.
