A man was taken to hospital after his left hand was pricked by the barb of a pet stingray at his Tin Shui Wai home yesterday. He was cleaning an aquarium containing the stingray at a flat in Lynwood Court, Kingswood Villas, at about 9am when the accident happened. His hand became swollen and painful, and he felt sick. He was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment. Another man suffered a similar injury at a flat on Seymour Road, Mid-Levels, in January last year.
