Cathay Pacific's Jane Cowe faxed Keeping Posted to say that the airline is showing daily bulletins from BBC World Service Television in-flight.
''We have made arrangements with the BBC to downlink the news every day via satellite. So for anyone needing their fix, just fly Cathay Pacific.'' A drastic (and expensive) remedy. But then, if you want your BBC . . .
