Newborn girl abandoned in Mong Kok

Police are calling for the next of kin of a newborn girl found abandoned in Mong Kok yesterday morning to come forward. A police spokesman said the baby, still with an umbilical cord, was found at about 7.25am on Shanghai and Arygle streets, and was taken to the Kwong Wah Hospital. She was wrapped in a towel with a rabbit pattern and had no visible injuries. Relatives may call the police or Mong Kok district officers at 2398 6200.
