This week we test: Men's Deep Face Wash
Any face wash is good enough to get the oil out of your skin, but a deep-cleansing one is great for acne-prone skin. Some of them contain mini-exfoliate particles that get rid of blackheads and unclog pores. Choose the right one for you.
Garnier Pure Pore Unblock Foam (HK$35/100ml)
This cleanser contains green micro-beads that unclog pores. It's gentle and doesn't dry up your skin.
Acnes Medicated Creamy Wash (HK$39.90/100g)
A small amount can generate plenty of foam to clean off oil and dirt. If you use it on a regular basis, your acne will disappear. One minor drawback is its minty scent, which is mild but a bit artificial.
Misssha Homme Urban-Soul foaming cleanser (HK$185/130g)
This 3-in-1 product - cleanser, shaving foam and mask - is convenient. It gently washes out dirt, but doesn't leave your skin too dry or tight. The smooth shaving foam is quite thick, so one small pump is good enough. Suitable for dry and combination skin.
Oxy Deep Wash (HK$62.9/130g)
This cleanser contains mini-exfoliating particles which get rid of the extra oil on your face. The black tube makes it more masculine and less embarrassing. Great for super oily skin and very affordable!
Shiseido Deep Cleansing Scrub (HK$180/125ml)
It may seem a bit pricey, especially for boys who don't usually invest in skincare products. But it doesn't just get rid of the grease and dirt - it brightens your complexion. Feels fresh, too!
