Open University graduates are earning more than before, according to a survey conducted by the institute, which found its 1,145 full-time graduates earned an average monthly salary of HK$10,555 last year - 6 per cent higher than the previous year. Although nearly a fifth were not working or pursuing further studies six months after graduation, about 68 per cent received one to four job offers.
