Detectives are investigating whether foul play was involved in the death of a man whose body was found on top of a water tank in Chai Wan public housing estate yesterday. The body of the man in his 50s was discovered in a kneeling position on the roof of the 2.4-metre-tall water tank on the ground floor of Lok Hing House at Hing Wah Estate at about 2.15pm. Police said there were no apparent wounds on the body. Forensic experts and government chemists are carrying out tests. Initial examinations suggest the man had been dead for a few days. A postmortem examination will be carried out.
