22 arrested over internet sales

Custom officials have arrested 22 people, including three tertiary students, over 18 cases of suspect goods being sold on internet auction sites. A total of 3,491 items, including World Cup jerseys, handbags, wallets, ornaments, sunglasses, socks, shoes, and 17 computers, worth about HK$390,000 were seized. The nine women and 13 men, aged 19 to 53, were released on bail pending further investigations. About 50 officers took part in the raids.
