The goods

Step forward

Shoe boutique Tassels has moved to The Landmark (Central, tel: 2789 9911). New for summer is British brand Crockett & Jones' collection featuring oxfords, derbys and boots such as the tetbury (left; HK$3,900). Be sure to accessorise them with a range of colourful socks (HK$199) from Italian brand Gallo.

Hot stuff

Club Monaco has launched a collection of classic summer staples in new cuts and fabrics. Chinos have been updated in styles such as shorts (left; HK$650) and classic and slim cuts, while colours range from beige to bright red. Finish the look with softly washed knits and the navy-inspired Breton-stripe ribbed crew neck (left; HK$990). The collection is available at Club Monaco, 16 Queen's Road Central, tel: 2118 2987.

Making waves

Evan Yurman of David Yurman has designed two jewellery collections for men. The Waves collection (HK$1,300 to HK$10,300) is inspired by tsubas (a Japanese sword guard) and features oxidised-sterling-silver rings, bracelets, necklaces and cufflinks carved with a wave motif. The Streamline series (HK$3,100 to HK$19,400) is sleek, with the brand's cable detailing on rings (above). The rings come in three widths in sterling silver or titanium and some feature pave diamonds. The collections are available at David Yurman, IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2295 0005.

Good for the sole

Serious runners may swear by the benefits of running barefoot but Italian shoemaker Vibram claims to have come up with a more comfort- able alternative. Five Fingers shoes are lightweight and separate the toes, allowing them to move independently, giving the wearer a better grip. Styles include Classic, Sprint (left; HK$1,050), Flow and KSO, which covers the entire foot. Prices range from HK$890 to HK$1,290. The shoes are available at Escapade Sports, 1/F, Yee Hing Building, 19 Leighton Road, Causeway Bay, tel: 2891 1855.
