Soccer  fans seeking to drown their sorrows a week after the World Cup ended could do worse than the Lan Kwai Fong Beerfest, which returns  this weekend for the seventh time.
Organisers say beer monsters can sample more than 100 different brews, while those who prefer quantity over quality can take part in drinking games  with plenty of prizes on offer.
Previous LKF Beerfests have been dominated by pints of Carlsberg, so a wider selection of ales at this year's event should be rewarding. Those not fussed about  beer can instead  check out the hearty food on offer.
Celebrations start at 1pm, so  things  could become rowdy , and early arrivals may want to take it easy or have a fair chance of ending up as the subject of photos they don't want tagged on Facebook. Arm-wrestling competitions, eating challenges and a Miss Beerfest also offer hopefuls 15 minutes of fame - or shame.
