This photo was taken on a trip to Jinci Temple in Shanxi province. It was renovated by the successive Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. The temple is famous for its 33 painted sculptures of servant maids from the Song dynasty, two trees dating back to the Sui and Zhou dynasties, and an underground spring.

This vibrant flame from an oil-burner in front of the main temple struck me as being free from the inhibitions or expectations we have every day.

Hong Kong is such a large, bustling city - and there is so much to see around every street corner and alley. I took these photos during my summer vacation and compiled them into a montage. It shows that since we live in such a diverse city, we truly have the freedom to explore and experience different things.
