WE refer to the letter by M. Wu headlined, ''Ridiculous pushchair ban'' (South China Morning Post, April 23). We apologise to the Wu family if hotel staff caused them any inconvenience, and for any misunderstandings that arose.
At the same time we would like to point out that our staff advised M. Wu on a basis of goodwill - on Sunday, April 17, the hotel lobby was filled with crowds and families with strollers. On such days we have to suggest measures to facilitate the traffic inside the lobby, so as to make it convenient and safe for our valued customers.
