'Long Hair' Leung Kwok-hung and five members of the Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements in China stood trial in Eastern Court over an unlawful assembly on Christmas Day. Leung, fellow lawmaker Lee Cheuk-yan and district councillor Leung Kwok-wah were among dozens outside the central government's liaison office calling for the release of mainland activist Liu Xiaobo. Sergeant Wong Yan-chi said they refused to stay in a protest zone. The trial continues tomorrow.
