Dec 20: Yeung Fei-lung pleads with staff of Caritas Medical Centre to help his father who is having a heart attack. Staff tell him to call 999, but Yeung Tak-cheung, 56, collapses and dies on the doorstep

Dec 23: Hospital Authority chiefs offer apology to family, and Solomon stresses core role of hospital staff should be to save lives

Jan 15: Police officers sift through almost all 8 tonnes of clinical waste at Tseung Kwan O landfill, but find no sign of baby's body missing from Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital shortly after baby's death on December 15

Jan 24: Solomon renews three-year contract

March: A sixth patient dies after taking fungus-tainted anti-gout drug Allopurinol. Scare sparks citywide drug replacement campaign and review of pharmaceutical safety system
