Ambulance, taxi in crash

Five people, including three paramedics, were injured in a collision between an ambulance and taxi at the junction of Tai Po Tai Wo Road and Kai Wo Road in Tai Po shortly before 12.30am yesterday. The four men and one woman, aged from 24 to 59, were treated for minor injuries at Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital.

New chief for retraining board

Stanley Ng Ka-kwong has been appointed executive director of the Employees Retraining Board to succeed Rebecca Pun Ting-ting. Ng joined the civil service as an assistant labour officer in 1979 and retired as assistant commissioner for labour in April this year.
