Corrections & clarifications

The article by Toh Han Shih 'Shanghai seen as China's top financial centre in long term,' on page B2 on July 24 incorrectly named a number of individuals as co-authors of a report from the Brookings-Tsinghua Centre for Public Policy. In fact, Xiao Geng, who was director of the centre when the report was published in 2008, was the sole author. According to the report, its content was generated from a workshop on September 22, 2007 involving 22 participants including Tu Guangshao who was then vice-chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission and is now the vice-mayor of Shanghai. In an interview with the South China Morning Post, Xiao said the views published in the report reflected the consensus of opinion from the 22 workshop participants.
