Police are investigating the cause of a traffic accident in Mong Kok early yesterday which left a 67-year-old woman dead. The woman was crossing a road at the junction of Prince Edward Road West and Yuen Ngai Street at about 5.15am when she was struck by a car. She was taken to Kwong Wah Hospital in Yau Ma Tei and declared dead shortly after arrival. The driver, 27, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death and detained for questioning. Police urged witnesses to call 2773 5200 or 2773 5211.
