FULL operational details of what will be done in the event of a disaster at the Daya Bay nuclear plant will be publicly revealed today for the first time. The long-awaited contingency plan will be delivered to Legislative Councillors in its entirety.

The Government has been criticised by lobby groups for not giving the public enough information. It has so far only released a pamphlet aiming to reassure people they need do nothing if there is a nuclear accident because Daya Bay is 50 kilometres away.
