This week we test: men's fragrances

Your choice of fragrance says a lot about you, whether you're a guy or a girl. We test some of the newest scents around this summer.

Diesel Fuel for Summer Men (HK$380/75ml) 7/10

In keeping with Diesel's cowboy style, a pouch made from rough cloth is included with the fragrance. The sweet scent is very refreshing, perfectly reflecting the product's motto, 'Fuel For Life'.

D Squared2 He Wood Ocean Wet Wood (HK$486/50ml) 8/10

The grainy wood frame surrounds the bottle, giving it a chic finish. A bit on the light side, but once applied you feel like an ocean breeze has swept over you.

Manchester United Red Eau de Toilette (HK$388/100ml) 5/10

A sweet-smelling product with a hint of musk. But it only lasts as long as products that cost half of this.

Ralph Lauren Big Pony Blue EDT (HK$360/75ml) 8/10

This first of the four Big Pony scents stresses its sportiness, with a strong lemon note that gives way to an aromatic lime-grapefruit zing. Its crisp, refreshing edge makes it suitable for all occasions.

Dior Homme Sport (HK$615/100ml) 6/10

This fragrance is citrusy and refreshing. It is great for use after sport, as it is cooling and invigorating.
