Former barrister Stanley Ma Ho-fai (pictured) pleaded not guilty in Eastern Court yesterday to stealing two bras. Ma, 44, was a barrister when he allegedly stole the bras outside the ground floor of a village block on Peng Chau on May 3. He has since removed his name from the Bar List. Ma is expected to give evidence during a trial on October 19. The trial is scheduled to last two days. Ma was among 10 lawyers who formed a group with democracy icon Martin Lee Chu-ming in March to represent rights activists in court.
