20 months' jail for molesting retarded girl

A 66-year-old man was jailed yesterday for 20 months for molesting a mentally retarded girl near a community centre. Lui Yau-suen had earlier pleaded guilty in the District Court to indecent assault for touching the private parts of a Primary Four pupil, who had a mental age of about six, in February. The incident took place when the 10-year-old girl was drinking water outside Methodist Epworth Village Community Centre in Shau Kei Wan.
