GlaxoSmithKline is recalling Panadol Children's Chewable Tablets 120mg after a batch (XPH026) of the pain reliever was found to contain different dosing instructions on the product's carton and on a leaflet inside the package. It says the product is still safe but the recall is a precautionary measure to avoid confusion. The instructions on the cartons are based on a child's age while the instructions on the leaflet are based on a child's weight. About 4,000 packs of the batch were sold to some 1,000 retailers. The drug company has set up a hotline at 3189 8765.
