New home for tamarins

Three cotton-top tamarin monkeys are exploring their new home in a zoo in Hungary. The one male and two females were sent to the Jaszbereny Zoo, 77 kilometres east of Budapest from the Copenhagen Zoo.

The critically endangered species of monkeys is native to Colombia. They can live for about 25 years in captivity, but only survive half that in the wild. The monkeys, about the size of a squirrel, are considered one of the world's 25 most-endangered primates.
