This week we test: eye cream
Say goodbye to puffy, dark eyes with a cream that soothes, moisturises and deflates
Fresh Lotus Eye Gel (HK$480/15ml) 6/10
On the plus side: this is non-greasy, instantly absorbed and you need very little to ease puffiness. On the downside: it has little effect on dark circles, and is super pricy.
Kiehl's Abyssine Eye Cream+ (HK$310/14ml) 9/10
The Abyssine formula includes the infusion of a unique anti-oxidant, corallina extract, which helps defend skin from external damage. The gel-like texture leaves your skin supple but not greasy at all. Definitely worth the cash.
Dermagram Multi-function Eye Cream-gel (HK$300/20ml) 7/10
Like most products from Dermagram, this gel draws its healing properties from plant extracts, so it's nice to know you're using a natural product. But the gel might be a little too thick and heavy for some people.
Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream (HK$260/15ml) 8/10
An affordable near-miracle in a jar. The smooth cream will leave skin tingling slightly, making your eyes look more awake. Wear it overnight and wake up dark circle-less and eye bag-free.
Biotherm Aquasource Eye Perfection (HK$290/15ml) 9/10
This is an amazing design with three rollerballs that help to massage while hydrating. By increasing circulation around the eyes, dark circles and bags disappear. Brilliant.
