Chippendales push hormone levels in SoHo to pull audiences to see their Macau show
A mere six months after giving Hong Kong a look at their rock-hard abs, the Chippendale boys flew back into town to further titillate an already-excitable crowd of women (and a handful of men) at SoHo's new private club, Hyde.
Hormone levels were high as over 200 well-heeled ladies waited over an hour for Las Vegas' newest crop of delectable human males to strut their stuff.
As the space near the small stage filled up, pockets of aggression erupted as groups of friends fought to carve out and keep their territory.
Indeed, temperatures rose to the point where comedian and guest emcee Vince Matthew Chung made a few attempts to defuse the tension, only to add, 'Dang, I think I might need a helmet', as he tried to make it through the crowd. Finally, an hour and 20 minutes after the doors opened, muscled entertainers Bryan Chan, Jaymes Vaughan and Kevin Cornell made their entrance.
But too soon the three-minute preview, which involved the performance of an R'n'B number and some bared torsos, came to a close. Feedback from the front-row audience revealed 'exposure that wasn't indecent enough', according to one guest.
A few lucky girls (one with the boys, above) who participated in the evening's lucky draw won tickets to the Chippendales' The Most Wanted Tour, running at Sands Macao for three consecutive nights this weekend, where they are promised some really provocative action.
