Bozarth prospers in Oz

HONG KONG junior Don Bozarth finished ninth overall in the junior competition in the World Cup triathlon held on the Gold Coast, Australia.

Bozarth finished the gruelling event in three hours, 29 minutes and 20 seconds, well behind Ricardo Da Costa's winning time of 3:07.46, but it was Bozarth's best result in an international event.

The men's open event was won by American Mike Pigg in 2:51.34 with teammate Mark Allen second in 2:54.48. Australia's Chris Leigh was third in 3:01.13. Former Hawaiian ironman champion Scott Tinley was fourth in 3:02.15.
