Police arrested a 29-year-old two-way permit holder in Mong Kok yesterday for allegedly stabbing and robbing a woman on Wednesday night in Sham Shui Po. In a search of the man's home, officers found a purse, an Octopus card and a mobile phone believed to belong to the victim. Police also found a blood-stained 22-centimetre-long foldable knife. Sham Shui Po assistant district commander Lau Tat-keung said police officers were able to trace the man because he had used the woman's mobile phone. The 41-year-old woman was stabbed in the stomach and was in serious condition in Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Police were investigating whether the man was involved in other similar crimes in the district.
