Fala Chen says she never had to use skin care products until last year. That changed when the 28-year-old actress and former beauty pageant winner noticed her first wrinkle, which she believes was caused by her 'non-stop work' for TVB.

Also suffering from skin problems is songwriter, actor and fashion guru Wyman Wong Wai-man, who said his skin was constantly dry from time spent in air-conditioned rooms.

Fortunately for both of them, local cosmetics brand IPSA has released a new product called Metabolizer, which it claims enriches the base of the skin, making it softer and smoother.

Metabolizer was launched on Tuesday at the Harbour Grand in North Point, where the overworked and over-air-conditioned talked up the product.

Among the gathering of socialites and media, the two gave glowing testimonials about how their skin improved with the cream. Given that Chen was working as brand spokeswoman and Wong was inside yet another air-conditioned room, it seems that IPSA either developed a cream that works wonders or pays its spokespeople well.
