The goods

Brave the Elements

Ermenegildo Zegna's Elements jacket (below; HK$51,300) is made with heat-sensitive material featuring a 'pine- cone-effect' system that allows pores in the fabric to open and close. The jacket regulates body temperature while insulating against the elements. This season, the jacket comes in a super-luxe version that's padded with a cashmere duvet. The jacket, which is water- and stain-resistant, is available at Ermenegildo Zegna, IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2295 0828.

Icone of style

Italian leather brand Fratelli Rossetti, known for classic styles and innovative details, stays close to its heritage this season with modern yet traditional shoes. Its Icone project sees the re-release of historic styles from the Fratelli Rossetti museum. One of these is the Brera (below; HK$5,210), which now comes in interesting fabric combinations and unusual colours, such as dark brown suede with blue suede, polished calfskin with black suede and prune pony skin with garnet radica. Fratelli Rossetti is at Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 2175 5296.

Sails force

Nautica's new collection is dominated by natural tones combined with the brand's signature blues and reds on casual basics. Styles range from cotton knit jumpers to khaki trousers and signature looks include plaid shirts, heavyweight jerseys and windbreakers with sailing flag patterns. We recommend the black quarter-zip white-striped jumper (below; HK$890) to go with this season's knitwear trend and the metal-grey two-in-one washed field jacket (above; HK$1,980). Nautica is at Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong, tel: 2265 7123.
