Letter writer threatened to kill police officers

A man who said he was wrongly convicted of criminal intimidation seven years ago sent letters to the Commissioner of Police threatening to kill officers if his complaint was not dealt with, the District Cour heard yesterday. Cheung Chi-kit, 51, a taxi driver, pleaded guilty to two counts of sending threatening letters. Deputy Judge Ada Yim Shun-yee adjourned sentencing to today.
