A decorator who broke into the Police Officers' Club and tried to steal copper from a lightning conductor was yesterday jailed for two years and eight months. Chan Kam-shui, 53, pleaded guilty in the District Court to two counts of burglary at the clubhouse in Causeway Bay in January and March. He entered the club by cutting open a fence with pliers.
