Luxury by the sea in Phuket
The third phase of a luxury marina development is soon to be launched on the resort island of Phuket.
A Royal Phuket Marina spokesman says it will comprise a luxury hotel and 150 condominium units. Phase 3 will be launched in December or January.
Seven properties remain available from the previous phases - four Aquaminium apartments and three Royal Waterfront Villas.
The Aquaminium apartments comprise two two-bedroom units of 169 square metres priced at US$734,000; a three-bedroom apartment of 192 square metres at US$922,000; and a four-bedroom triplex penthouse of 832 square metres (sale price negotiable).
The penthouse has a private berth that allows the owner to sail a yacht right into the property and walk into a yacht lounge next to a hydrotherapy room with a jacuzzi, spa area and indoor pool. A lift provides access to the penthouse with a landscaped roof terrace, open air lounge and private pool.
The three 748-square-metre villas have landscaped gardens and jacuzzis, steam rooms and rooftop cabanas. They are priced at US$4 million.
Royal Phuket Marina's most lavish property, a Grand Villa of 2,869 square metres, is for sale for US$10.5 million. It comprises a central residence and four guest villas in an exclusive estate, complete with a private driveway and five-car garage.
The marina provides easy access to many tropical paradises including Phang Nga Bay and Koh Phi Phi.
More than half the development is devoted to leisure and shopping facilities, including restaurants, a fitness centre and spa.
Celebrity visitors have included Britain's Princess Eugenie, Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey, British artist Damien Hirst and supermodels Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss.
