Mental patients cause stress for carers

Caregivers for mental patients suffer high levels of stress, a survey by Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service and City University of 276 such caregivers found. Eccentric and suicidal behaviour and unstable emotions caused the most stress in caregivers, 64 per cent of whom want the Hospital Authority to provide 24-hour emergency support services to ease their stress.
