Let's do the wrap

Hip & hot

Printed scarves

Why? Winter's approaching fast and the temperature's dropping quickly. We need something to keep us warm and cosy but end up looking more drab than fab. Printed scarves are a great solution to looking cute on cold days. Not only do they keep us snug but they also keep us looking fashion-forward. They're also light enough to carry about, which is an added bonus. Printed scarves instantly update and freshen up our look. They can be worn with almost any outfit, making them the perfect accessory for the girl-on-the-go!

How? There are so many options for wearing the printed scarf. Wear it with your favourite jeans and a black blazer for a casual sophisticated look; or wear it with a simple shirt and a boldly printed skirt for a true fashionista vibe.

Where? The printed scarf is taking over the fashion world so you'll be able to find it almost anywhere. Shops like H&M, Accessorize and Cotton On all have a great range of prints to choose from so you're bound to find the perfect one for you.

Joanne Westmoreland, 14, King George V

My style is ... simple, cute, with lots of accessories! I normally wear dresses or shorts with a cardigan or a necklace with bracelets to finish off the look. My outfit everyday depends on the weather and what I'm doing. The blue skirt and white top really suits my style as it's very cute and girly.

I am ... happy, funny, cheerful and nice. My clothes are always bright and girly, which gives off a very happy vibe!

I am wearing ... a Forever21 top, a jacket from Basic, a high-waisted skirt from the Miley Cyrus Line, sandals from Forever21 and my necklace is from Mong Kok.

The story behind .. my necklace. I've had it for about three years now and it's a jigsaw puzzle that links up with my friends' jigsaw necklaces. All three of us bought the necklaces together and we're still all very close.

Shhh! Let me tell you a secret ... never underestimate small accessories. Even the smallest accessories get noticed, so make sure it suits your outfit and style as it really finishes up your outfit. When my outfit is mainly solid colours I spice it up a little with bright multicoloured bracelets or a long bright necklace.

My favourite designer is ... Betsey Johnson because of her unique fun style. Betsey is a designer in New York whose clothes are never boring and always interesting in some way.

I would like to look like ... Victoria Justice, mainly because of her long brown hair and her style and fashion sense.
