THE China Coast Community's dinner dance tomorrow is the cat's whiskers - and that's official.

For Cat's Whiskers is the theme for the night, with quite a few people purring around in cat-suits.

And providing a further feline interlude will be songstress Malia Ondrejka who has flown over to Hong Kong from New York. She'll be taking a break from starring in the current Broadway Express run at Faces restaurant to do her bit for the charity.

The China Coast Community is a residential home for the elderly in Kowloon, and the event is being held to help its worthwhile work. Among those on the charity's board are Gerry Forsgate and Simon Murray.

Chief fund-raiser Eleanor Shepherd tells us that a few dinner tickets are still available. For more details contact her on 849-7375 (tel) or 849-8237 (fax).
