Prince among prints
When it comes to accessories, quality is king. And few labels do quality better than Hermes, the venerable French fashion house and one-time saddlemaker. The label's tie collection oozes class and the cross-dyed cotton tie in Prince of Wales check (HK$1,600) is no exception. Look for it in two new aristocratic colours this season (right). For gentlemanly charm on your arm, consider the Clipper 44 mechanical chronograph diver's watch (far right; HK$43,600), a new sports version of the brand's classic men's watch, but with a titanium casing, rubber strap and ebony dial. Hermes is at The Galleria, Central, tel: 2525 5900.
Boho soles
You have to hand it to Paul Smith, the man knows how to give bohemian elegance a contemporary spin. He's come up trumps again with a diverse range of footwear, including the bitter-chocolate-coloured Palin lace-ups, with laser-cut brogue detailing (right; HK$3,290). Paul Smith is at The Lee Gardens, Causeway Bay, tel: 2377 3983.
The skinny on belts
Keep it classic with Yves Saint Laurent's range of belts. Ditch chunky, boisterous buckles and slide one of these discreet designs through your belt loops. Made in beautiful leather, our favourites are the 3cm silver buckle belt (HK$2,250) and the larger Y-clasp belt (both right; HK$2,390). Yves Saint Laurent is at Alexandra House, Central, tel: 2868 0092.
