HK sadder but it could be worse
Hongkongers are a little sadder than last year, but are still considered upbeat, according to a Happiness Index survey by Lingnan University, which asked about 830 adults to rate how happy they were last month. The overall index was 70.1, down from 70.6 last year, but still well above the 67.2 seen in 2007. More low-income earners were happier than last year, but financial stress worried many people. For three years in a row, women of all ages were happier than men.
