Digital colour closed-circuit television security systems have been installed in 68 public housing estates, the Transport and Housing Bureau said. It is part of an upgrade across 970 blocks in 147 estates under the Housing Authority. Launched in 2007, the bureau said the upgrade is on track to be completed by 2014. The new systems have better picture quality and cover a wider area.
