Unkai Japanese restaurant at the Sheraton in Tsim Sha Tsui will have a Zind Humbrecht wine dinner tonight. The six-course dinner includes Boston lobster rolls with garlic cream, avocado and basil-lemon cress paired with Zind Humbrecht Riesling Clos Hauserer 2007; Hokkaido scallop with eggplant and bean paste sauce with Zind Humbrecht Riesling Clos Hauserer 2006; and soy-glazed duck breast and teppan foie gras with Japanese sweet potato served with Zind Humbrecht Pinot Gris Herrenweg Turckheim 2007. Riva restaurant at the Park Lane hotel in Causeway Bay is serving game on a four-course menu until December 5. The main course features venison fillet with creamed Savoy cabbage, red-wine infused salsify, bacon and spiced butternut squash puree; or poached and roast wild duck breast and confit duck leg pie with carrot and orange puree (right). ToTT's restaurant at the Excelsior hotel in Causeway Bay is serving porcini mushroom dishes until the end of December. Dishes include bacon-wrapped mushroom terrine with lemon goat cheese toast; porcini risotto with quail egg and lobster; porcini strudel with mozzarella and onion pur?e; and porcini-crusted beef tenderloin with spinach, potatoes and wild mushroom sauce.
