Taiwanese girl group S.H.E is on a long break with two members out of action. Selina Jen Chia-hsuan is still being treated in a Taipei hospital after suffering third-degree burns on a film shoot in Shanghai in October, and Ella Chen Chia-hwa is pursuing studies in the United States.

But remaining member Hebe Tien Fu-chen insisted the troupe would never disband, although she's on her own at the moment, with her debut solo album To Hebe released a few months ago.

'Some routines and endorsements will be done by me and Ella only,' Tien said at a World Aids Day event in Taipei this week. 'For other work, it'll depend on Selina's situation. We'll wait until she's ready physically and mentally, and totally recovered, then we'll move on.'

Jen's condition had been improving, she said.

'Her condition has been more stable these last few days. Before that, she kept developing a fever that rose to 40 degrees Celsius at times. It was terrible,' she said. 'We hope she recovers quickly and her wedding will be held as scheduled.'

At a S.H.E concert earlier this year, Jen announced plans to tie the knot with her lawyer boyfriend next April.
