Triad member admits tailing businessman

Joyce Man

A man admitted in the Court of First Instance yesterday that he had followed the chairman of a Hong Kong company on instructions from another man last year. Wong Kai-chun, 24, pleaded guilty to one count each of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm and being a member of a triad society. Wong, who worked in a salon, said a man called 'Tai Lung' had instructed him to 'dog' the footsteps of the chairman, who was not identified in court. The incident was revealed by an undercover police officer who infiltrated the Wo Shing Wo triad society.
