5 arrested over law firm damage
Five people were arrested in relation to two criminal damage cases involving Gilt Chambers in Admiralty and a law firm at the Landmark in Central, in October. A 32-year-old man was arrested at the Lo Wu border yesterday, after three men and a woman, aged 16 to 36, were arrested in Sheung Shui, Kwun Tong, Sau Mau Ping and Wong Tai Sin on Friday and Saturday. They were charged with conspiracy to damage property and will appear in the Eastern Court today.
Another cold snap coming
The coldest days of the winter so far are due to arrive on Thursday and Friday, when the mercury is expected to drop to about 10 degrees Celsius, the Observatory said.
Man dies after being hit by 2 cars
A man, 49, was killed after he was hit by two cars in Kowloon City. He was struck twice as he crossed Boundary Street near Embankment Road at 7.50pm. Police are looking for the driver of the second car. The man was taken to Kwong Wah Hospital, where he was declared dead.
