Title-chasing Kitchee dropped valuable points in a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Citizen in a BMA Hong Kong First Division match at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground yesterday. Kitchee were hoping to join South China - 3-1 winners over Sun Hei on Saturday - at the top of the table but were continually frustrated by Citizen, who led 1-0 after 11 minutes through Sham Kwok-keung. Chu Siu-kai found the equaliser for Kitchee in the 73rd minute. Kitchee are now two points behind South China after 10 games on 23 points, while Citizen remain fifth on 15.
