The Tapas Bar at the Kowloon Shangri-La in Tsim Sha Tsui will hold a tasting of San Felice wines on December 28. Wines include the San Felice Vermentino Sauvignon Blanc Maremma, San Felice Il Grigio Chianti Classico DOCG Toscana, and San Felice Campogiovanni Brunello di Montalcino. Fabrizio Cattaino, executive chef of Zeffirino Kulm Restaurant in Portofino, Italy, is guest chef at Zeffirino Ristorante at the Regal Hongkong Hotel in Causeway Bay and the Regal Kowloon Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui until January 6. The dishes, available ? la carte and on a six-course tasting menu (HK$688 plus 10 per cent, or HK$938 with a wine pairing), include salt-baked baccala salad with Taggia olives, pine nuts and pistachios; asparagus and taleggio tart with fresh truffles; prawn and zucchini risotto with sea urchin sauce; deep-fried swordfish tournedos with oyster and lemon sauce; and oven-baked veal rolls with ham and cacio cheese (right).
