The number of complaints filed by Indonesian domestic helpers fell to 277 cases this year from 342 last year, the Indonesian Migrants Worker Union says. But more workers complained this year about the lack of compensatory days off, overcharging by employment agencies and employers failing to pay salaries. The union says more than 140,000 Indonesian maids work in the city.
