A 49-year-old died when his motorbike lost control and rammed roadside railings on the Tolo Highway near the science park in Tai Po. He sustained multiple injuries and was rushed to hospital, but later died. Police asked any witnesses to the accident early yesterday to call the New Territories North traffic unit's special investigation team on 3661 3800. In the first 11 months of last year there were 2,440 accidents involving motorbikes, in which 13 people were killed.
