Nine held in Tsim Sha Tsui drug raids

Nine people were arrested on suspicion of possessing illegal drugs during predawn raids in Tsim Sha Tsui yesterday. The operation was part of a police campaign to crack down on drug use during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Officers raided a number of clubs and seized substances including ketamine, Ice and Ecstasy. The seven men and two women, aged between 27 and 59, were granted bail and told to report back to the police in February.
