Grub: Home-made pizza. They also have pasta, salads and snacks.

Vibe: Ziti's is small. The tables are packed in but it still only allows for about 20 people. It's also a bit of an assault on the eyes: the walls are yellow, the chairs are green and there's usually a mountain of delivery boxes stacked up by the door. But it's popular and it can be hard to get a table at peak times.

Who to bring: Anybody who loves pizza.

What's hot: You have to be a pizza liker, at least, to eat at Ziti's, although there is also a good range of salads and snacks. The grilled scallop salad with apple and artichokes looked particularly good. The Caesar, Nicoise, and parma ham with melon salads are also particularly tantaslising.

Other snacks and appetisers include ever-popular spicy chicken wings, chips, garlic bread and some particularly tasty mushrooms stuffed with crab meat. If you can't make up your mind, there is a combo platter with garlic bread, chicken wings, baked oysters and mushrooms.

Pasta fans have a dozen to sauces to choose from, including carbonara and vongole, but surprisingly no Bolognese. With all the other interesting options it's probably just not that popular.

The fettuccini with smoked salmon and artichokes in a cream sauce was worth a go, although it was a close call between that and the angel hair with spicy sausage. The pastas come in generous portions which are perfect for sharing.

The small selection of main courses includes chicken, lamb and seafood skewers. The seafood includes prawns, salmon and crab legs. Teriyaki beef ribs and barbecue pork ribs are also on the menu.

The pizzas are available in two sizes depending on how hungry you are or how many people there are in your group. The eight-inch size is good for one or two people while the 12-inch version works for three to four. There are more than 25 toppings to choose from.

Alternatively, you can choose from any of the 20 or so tried and tested variations on the menu. Pepperoni, meat lovers, and Hawaiian are all in evidence.

But less common options such as Cajun salmon are also available. The Siciliana, which features a Mediterranean blend of ham, roasted garlic, olives and anchovies, was especially delicious.

If that doesn't fill you up, there is a small selection of desserts, including tiramisu and chocolate brownies.

What's not: Bright yellow walls can be difficult to bear in the biggest spaces. And this is not a big space by any means.

Cost: You can build your own pizza from HK$80 for an 8-inch and HK$140 for a 12-inch. This includes four toppings of your choice. Additional toppings are HK$8 on the smaller size and HK$12 on the bigger one.

Pasta dishes are HK$55-HK$105 and salads HK$50-HK$75. The stuffed mushrooms are HK$52 while other snacks are HK$45-HK$70. The combo snack platter costs HK$98.

Desserts are from HK$45.
