The right shampoo for your scalp and hair type helps remove excess oil, dirt and dandruff while nourishing.

Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturising Shampoo (HK$250/200ml)

If you like incense, you'll love the smell of this highly nourishing cream shampoo which leaves locks and scalp quenched. Pricy, though.

Skin Food Hair Beer Hair Wash (HK$100/240ml)

This clear gel is well regarded for a reason. It foams quickly and leaves your hair refreshed and revitalised. One snag: it smells like medicine.

Orbis Scalp & Hair Shampoo (HK$159/420ml)

It's quite rich, so it takes a while to fully rinse out, but thisleaves your hair salon-smooth. Scent-free, this contains botanic extracts and valuable royal jelly. But it's not ideal for oily hair.

H2O+ Sea Marine Revitalising Shampoo (HK$190/370ml)

The fantastic smell awakens the senses. The shampoo leaves your hair totally clean and feeling great for the whole day.

Kiehl's Superbly Smoothing Argan Shampoo (HK$210/250ml)

Argan oil keeps hair shiny and moist without weighing it down. Its earthy, Patchouli-like scent is pleasant and refreshing. The best bit? It works wonders on frizzy hair.
